Exhibit goers can immerse themselves in the entire process of creating an episode of SNL, from sitting at Lorne Michaels’ desk to writing, to experience the show go live at a replica of studio 8H in New York. True superfans will recognize sets such a Wayne’s World, Celebrity Jeopardy and Weekend Update.

Over the years, The Murphy has opened up to share it’s beautiful French Renaissance style architecture.

In 2006, refurbishing of The Murphy was completed and restored it to it’s original ornate beauty. With the ability to host 150-520 guests depending on the set up, whether it’s a wedding, exhibit or corporate event, The Murphy is perfect for the occasion.

Richly steeped in history, Chez is a contemporary loft just 2 blocks off Michigan Avenue. From the 1930’s through the 1950’s, Chez was home to the famous Chez Paree nightclub that hosted Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald and Nat King Cole, just to name a few.

Moving in to the 2010’s, Chez is a versatile space that can be transformed for any occasion. An architectural glass staircase leads to a mezzanine overlooking the main floor. Brilliant white brick walls, white drapery and polished concrete floors create an elegant loft aesthetic. Additional features include floor-to-ceiling windows, coat check, a private guest suite, and a catering prep space with a separate entrance. Chez provides an ideal setting for a variety of events, including wedding ceremonies and receptions, fundraisers, private parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, corporate events, and off-site meetings.
