Hailed as one of Chicago’s finest architectural jewels, The Murphy Auditorium was built in 1923 for the American College of Surgeons and was designed to host their meetings as well as serve as a center for education in surgery. Over the years, The Murphy has opened up to share it’s beautiful French Renaissance style architecture.

In 2006, refurbishing of The Murphy was completed and restored it to it’s original ornate beauty. With the ability to host 150-520 guests depending on the set up, whether it’s a wedding, exhibit or corporate event, The Murphy is perfect for the occasion.
